Daytime traffic impacts typically take place between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m., and nighttime impacts between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m. Times may vary based on weather and other (construction-related) variables.
Lewis County
I-5, Mellen Street to Blakeslee Junction – Stage 2

- Tuesday, May 31 to the morning of Thursday, June 2: A single-lane in either direction of I-5 between Mellen Street and Harrison Avenue may close intermittently, nightly from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. for grinding, paving and guardrail work.
- Thursday, June 2 to the morning of Friday, June 3: A single-lane in either direction of I-5 between Mellen Street and Harrison Avenue may close intermittently, nightly from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. for grinding, paving and guardrail work.
- Friday, June 3 to the morning of Saturday, June 4: A single-lane in either direction of I-5 between Mellen Street and Harrison Avenue may close intermittently, nightly, from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m., for grinding, paving and guardrail work.

I-5: Union, Steamboat, and Ebey Slough Bridges – Special Bridge Repair

- Until further notice – Northbound I-5 before SR 528 is reduced to three narrower lanes with a speed limit of 45 mph for expansion joint replacement work.
- Tuesday, May 31, to the morning of Friday, June 3 – Up to two right lanes of southbound I-5 after SR 528 will be closed from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly for expansion joint replacement work.
- Tuesday, May 31, to the morning of Friday, June 3 – The SR 528 on-ramp to southbound I-5 will be closed from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly for expansion joint replacement work. A signed detour will be in place.
- **DRIVER ALERT**Friday, June 3, to the morning of Monday, June 6 – Northbound I-5 before SR 528 will be reduced to two narrower lanes with a speed limit of 45 mph from 9:30 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday for expansion joint replacement work. Traffic may be reduced to one lane overnight Friday and overnight Sunday.
King County
I-5: SB S 320th St to Duwamish River Bridge – Concrete Pavement Rehab
Mileposts: 142.76 – 156.71
- Tuesday, May 31, to Friday, June 3 – Up to four lanes of southbound I-5 from SR 516/Kent Des Moines Road to South 336th Street will be closed nightly for pavement repair work beginning with left one lane at 8 p.m. All lanes will reopen by noon.
- Tuesday, May 31, to Friday, June 3 – Up to three right lanes of southbound I-5 from Interurban Avenue South to Klickitat Drive will be closed nightly for concrete panel replacement work beginning with right one lane at 8 p.m. All lanes will reopen by noon.
- Friday, June 3, to Saturday, June 4 – Up to four lanes of southbound I-5 from SR 516/Kent Des Moines Road to South 320th Street may be closed for pavement repair work beginning with left one lane at 8 p.m. All lanes will reopen by noon.

- Tuesday, June 14 – One lane of the northbound I-5 express lanes off-ramp to Northeast 103rd Street/1st Avenue Northeast will be closed from 1 to 2 p.m. for bridge inspection work.
Pierce County
I-5 – M Street to Portland Avenue – HOV & I-5 – Portland Avenue to Port of Tacoma Road – Northbound HOV
These two projects lay the foundation for new HOV lanes on I-5 in Tacoma and northbound into Fife.
I-5 near the Tacoma Dome between M St. to Portland Ave. from milepost 132.8 to 135.2, and northbound I-5 between East Portland Avenue and Port of Tacoma Road.
