Traffic Impacts for I-5 Rehabilitation Work in Washington

The Washington State Department of Transportation reports the following traffic impacts as a result of  the I-5 – I-205 to North Fork Lewis River Bridge – Rehabilitate Pavement Project:

  • Sunday, Aug. 14 to the morning of Monday, Aug. 15: Up to two lanes of southbound I-5 may close between the North Fork Lewis River Bridge and Northeast 139th Street, overnight, from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m., for pavement repair work.
  • Monday, Aug. 15 to the morning of Saturday, Aug. 20: Up to two lanes of southbound I-5 may be closed between the North Fork Lewis River Bridge and Northeast 139th Street, nightly, from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m., for pavement repair work.

NOTE: The speed limit is temporarily reduced to 60 miles per hour through the work zone.
NOTE: Drivers should watch for flaggers and anticipate delays through the work zone.
