The Oregon Department of Transportation reports that the ramp from northbound Interstate 5 to OR 217 will be closed on three weekends in July and August for a new deck surface.

The ramp will be closed from 9:00 p.m. Saturday night to 5:00 a.m. Monday morning starting Saturday, July 30 and resuming on Saturday, August 6 and Saturday August 13. If needed to complete the project, a fourth weekend closure will be August 20-22.

An interim overlay was applied to the ramp in in 2014 but was only scheduled to last up to two years.

Travelers should plan an alternate route or expect delays during the closures times.

When the ramp is closed, travelers will be directed to exit 292B, the next exit north, and turn right at the traffic signal onto OR 217.
