The Oregon DOT and the Portland Bureau of Transportation will mark the completion of the I-5 Southbound Off-ramp at North Broadway Project Monday, Sept. 26, with a celebration in the Rose Quarter.

Portland City Commissioner Steve Novick and ODOT’s Portland-area Manager Rian Windsheimer will discuss the project during the Monday event.

The project is the first I-5 transportation improvement in the larger North/Northeast Quadrant Plan, a joint city-state plan aimed at improving traffic operations flow for all transportation modes through the area.

Many local stakeholders contributed to the plan, including neighborhood groups, trucking companies, local businesses and business groups, the Lloyd Center, the Rose Quarter, and bicycle, pedestrian, railroad and environmental advocates.
