Multi-Weeklong I-5 Lane Closures in Fresno County Begin Monday, April 21

The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) announces moving lane closures, on I-5 between Manning Avenue (exit 365) and South Hudson Avenue, starting Monday, April 21st.

Construction crews will be working along the two-and-a-half-mile stretch of the Interstate 5. Starting Monday, the closures will be happening between 6:00 pm and 10:00 am Monday through Thursday, for the next several weeks.

The following I-5 Work will occur:

• The Interstate 5 northbound #2 lane will be closed from 6:00 pm to 10:00 am, Starting Monday night, April 21st, through Thursday morning April 24th
• The Interstate 5 northbound #1 lane will be closed from 6:00 pm to 10:00 am starting Monday night, April 28th through Thursday morning May 1st.
• The Interstate 5 southbound #1 lane will be closed from 6:00 pm to 10:00 am, Starting Monday night, May 5th, through Thursday morning May 8th
• The Interstate 5 southbound #2 lane will be closed from 6:00 pm to 10:00 am, Starting Monday night, May 12th, through Thursday morning May 15th

The closures may continue for longer periods of time, if necessary, due to delays caused by weather or uncontrollable events that may occur.
