The Washington State Department of Transportation reports the following I-5 Construction traffic impacts in Clark County: Clark at milepost 16.8.
Description: The interchange improvement project, part of the Cowlitz project, is a $32 million private investment to overhaul and upgrade the interchange at exit 16 on I-5.
Work schedule: Monday, Feb. 27 to Friday, March 3: Drivers using the northbound off-ramp from I-5 to La Center Road (Exit 16) will be shifted onto a temporary off-ramp, daily, with flaggers, from 4-6 p.m., for construction work.
- Friday, March 3 to the morning of Saturday, March 4: Drivers using the northbound off-ramp from I-5 to La Center Road (Exit 16) will be shifted onto a temporary off-ramp from 3:30-6 p.m., for construction work.
- Saturday, March 4 to the morning of Sunday, March 5: A single lane in either direction of I-5, near La Center Road (Exit 16) will close overnight, from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m., for construction work.
