Lane, Ramp Closures, Detours for I-5 Construction in Oregon

The Oregon Department of Transportation reports the following update to traffic impacts as a result of I-5 construction and maintenance operations:

• Exit 256 ramp to Market St (Salem) Effective July 30, 2017, the ramp from I-5 southbound Exit 256 to Market St will be intermittently closed between the hours of 9 PM & 5 AM. Estimated date of completion is August 4, 2017.
• MP 256 to MP 258 NB & SB (Salem) Effective June 19, 2017, this section I-5 will be restricted to 20 feet 00 in. in width between the hours of 9 PM & 5 AM. Estimated date of completion is September 15, 2017.
• NB on ramp from Market St (Salem) Effective July 30, 2017, the ramp from Market St to I-5 northbound will be intermittently closed between the hours of 9 PM & 5 AM. Estimated date of completion is August 4, 2017.
• MP 270.50 to MP 283.01 NB & SB (Woodburn to Wilsonville) Effective July 5, 2017, this section of I-5 will be restricted to 15 feet 00 in. in width on Sunday to Thursday nights between the hours of 9 PM & 5 AM. Estimated date of completion is September 29, 2017.
• MP 270.50 to MP 283.01 NB & SB (Woodburn to Wilsonville) Effective July 5, 2017, this section of I-5 will be restricted to 17 feet 01 in. in height southbound, and 16 feet 09 in. in height northbound, on Sunday to Thursday nights between the hours of 9 PM & 5 AM. Estimated date of completion is September 29, 2017.
• MP 271.5 to 283. Estimated delay of 20 minutes – 2 hours; Construction Work. Lanes Affected: (Northbound) 2 Lanes
  Road construction is occurring, use caution. Replace the existing pavement between the Willamette River (Boone) Bridge and Woodburn Interchange. The project includes grinding the existing pavement and inlaying the new pavement. Reinstalling durable striping, inlaid pavement markers, and shoulder rumble strips. Lane closures will take place in the evenings, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., Sunday thru Thursday nights. Rolling slow downs between 3am to 5am with traffic slowed to approximately 20mph. Expect traffic delays up to 20 minutes. Estimated completion: 10/2017
• NB on and off-ramps to/from French Prairie Rest Area (south of Wilsonville) Effective July 18, 2017, the I-5 northbound on- and off-ramps to/from French Prairie Rest Area will be intermittently closed between the hours of 9 PM & 5 AM. Estimated date of completion is September 30, 2017.
• SB on and off-ramps to/from French Prairie Rest Area (south of Wilsonville) Effective July 23, 2017, the I-5 southbound on- and off-ramps to/from French Prairie Rest Area will be intermittently closed between the hours of 9 PM & 5 AM. Estimated date of completion is September 30, 2017.
• SB on-ramp from Charbonneau District (south of Wilsonville) Effective July 30, 2017, the ramp from Charbonneau District to I-5 southbound will be intermittently closed between the hours of 9 PM & 5 AM. Estimated date of completion is September 30, 2017.
• I-5 NB Exit 282 ramp to Canby (south of Wilsonville) Effective July 30, 2017, the ramp from I-5 northbound Exit 282 to Canby will be intermittently closed between the hours of 9 PM & 5 AM. Estimated date of completion is September 30, 2017.

• I-5 NB Exit 289 off-ramp to Nyberg Rd (Tualatin) Effective August 7, 2017, the ramp from I-5 northbound Exit 289 to Nyberg Rd will be intermittently closed between the hours of 10 PM & 5:30 AM. Estimated date of completion is August 11, 2017.
• NB on-ramp from Nyberg Rd EB (Tualatin) Effective August 7, 2017, the ramp from Nyberg Rd eastbound to I-5 northbound will be intermittently closed between the hours of 10 PM & 5:30 AM. Estimated date of completion is August 11, 2017.
• MP 291.29. Carman Dr crossing over I-5 (Tualatin) Effective August 7, 2017, Carman Dr crossing over I-5 will be intermittently closed between the hours of 10 PM & 5:30 AM. This closure is NOT on the I-5 mainline. Estimated date of completion is August 11, 2017.
• MP 293.62. NB Truck Ramp (Portland) Effective August 6, 2017, the I-5 northbound Truck Ramp will be intermittently closed between the hours of 7 PM & 9 AM. All traffic will be directed to stay on the I-5 mainline. Estimated date of completion is August 15, 2017.
• MP 294.23 to MP 293.80 SB (Portland) Effective August 8, 2017, this section of I-5 southbound will be restricted to 13 feet 00 in. in width, per the following schedule: Sunday to Friday nights between the hours of 9 PM & 5 AM; Saturday nights between the hours of 9 PM & 8 AM. Estimated date of completion is August 15, 2017.
• SB Exit 294 ramp to OR99W (Portland) Effective August 8, 2017, the ramp from I-5 southbound Exit 294 to OR99W will be intermittently closed between the hours of 7 PM & 9 AM. Estimated date of completion is August 15, 2017.
• NB on-ramp from Barbur Blvd (near Exit 294 – Portland) Effective August 6, 2017, the ramp from Barbur Blvd to I-5 northbound near Exit 294 will be intermittently closed between the hours of 7 PM & 9 AM. Estimated date of completion is August 15, 2017.
• NB Exit 297 ramp to Terwilliger Blvd (Portland) Effective August 7, 2017, the ramp from I-5 northbound Exit 297 to Terwilliger Blvd will be intermittently closed between the hours of 10 PM & 5:30 AM. Estimated date of completion is August 11, 2017.
• NB on-ramp from Barbur Blvd (near Exit 297 – Portland) Effective August 7, 2017, the ramp from Barbur Blvd to I-5 northbound near Exit 297 will be intermittently closed between the hours of 10 PM & 5:30 AM. Estimated date of completion is August 11, 2017.
• MP 300.26 to MP 300.36 NB (Marquam Bridge – Portland) Effective August 13, 2017, this section of I-5 northbound will be closed between the hours of 4 AM & 11 AM for one day only.
• MP 300.5 to 302. Estimated delay under 20 minutes. Periodic nighttime lane and ramp closures. Periodic closures on I-5 in both directions (Broadway/Weidler to Burnside undercrossing) Monday through Friday from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. (until 8 a.m. Saturday). Morrison Bridge ramp to I-84 east/I-5 closed for Multnomah County work.
• MP 301 to MP 302 NB & SB (Portland) Effective June 8, 2017, this section of I-5 will be restricted to 14 feet 06 in. in height southbound, and 16 feet 01 in. in height northbound, between the hours of 10 PM & 5 AM. Estimated date of completion is October 27, 2017.
• MP 301 to MP 302 NB & SB (Portland) Effective June 8, 2017, this section of I-5 will be restricted to 14 feet 00 in. in width between the hours of 10 PM & 5 AM. Mobile homes with eaves are allowed, provided the base width does not exceed 14 feet 00 in. in width. Estimated date of completion is October 27, 2017.
• NB on-ramp from the Morrison Bridge (Portland) Effective June 8, 2017, the ramp from the Morrison Bridge to I-5 northbound will be intermittently closed per the following schedule: Sunday to Thursday nights between the hours of 10 PM & 5 AM; Friday and Saturday nights between the hours of 11 PM & 8 AM. Estimated date of completion is October 27, 2017.
• SB Exit 300B ramp to OR99E/Oregon City/OMSI (Portland) Effective June 8, 2017, the ramp from I-5 southbound Exit 300B to OR99E/Oregon City/OMSI will be intermittently closed per the following schedule: Sunday to Thursday nights between the hours of 10 PM & 5 AM; Friday and Saturday nights between the hours of 11 PM & 8 AM. Estimated date of completion is October 27, 2017.
• SB Exit 300B to the Morrison Bridge (Portland) Effective August 13, 2017, the ramp from I-5 southbound Exit 300B to the Morrison Bridge will be closed between the hours of 4 AM & 12 noon for one day only.
• SB on-ramp from Wheeler St (Portland) Effective June 8, 2017, the ramp from Wheeler St to I-5 southbound will be intermittently closed per the following schedule: Sunday to Thursday nights between the hours of 10 PM & 5 AM; Friday and Saturday nights between the hours of 11 PM & 8 AM. Estimated date of completion is October 27, 2017.
• NB Exit 302C ramp to Greeley Ave/Swan Island (Portland) Effective August 7, 2017, the ramp from I-5 northbound Exit 302C to Greeley Ave/Swan Island will be intermittently closed between the hours of 10 PM & 5:30 AM. Estimated date of completion is August 11, 2017.
• MP 306.6 to MP 307.6 NB (Portland) Effective August 7, 2017, this section of I-5 northbound will be restricted to 14 feet 00 in. in width between the hours of 10 PM & 5:30 AM. Estimated date of completion is August 11, 2017.
• MP 306.6 to MP 307.6 NB (Portland) Effective August 7, 2017, this section of I-5 northbound will be restricted to 18 feet 04 in. in height between the hours of 10 PM & 5:30 AM. Estimated date of completion is August 11, 2017.
• NB Exit 307 ramp to OR99E (Portland) Effective August 7, 2017, the ramp from I-5 northbound Exit 307 to OR99E will be intermittently closed between the hours of 10 PM & 5:30 AM. Estimated date of completion is August 11, 2017.
