The California Department of Transportation reports the following I-5 construction activities and closures, subject to change. Work will occur during daytime hours unless otherwise noted. Construction activities thru September 30, 2016.
- SR-134 to Magnolia Boulevard
- I-5: Install concrete barriers between Providencia Avenue and SR-134 (night work).
- Magnolia Boulevard to Buena Vista Street
- Empire I-5 Undercrossing: Form and pour abutment walls.
- SR-134 to Magnolia Boulevard
- Two lanes closed on northbound and southbound I-5 between SR-134 and Providencia Avenue the night of Sept. 25 from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.
- Two lanes closed on southbound I-5 between Providencia Avenue and SR-134 from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.
- Southbound I-5 Alameda Avenue off-ramp closed from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.
- Southbound I-5 Verdugo Avenue on-ramp closed from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m., Sept. 23-30.
- Magnolia Boulevard to Buena Vista Street
- Intermittent nighttime lane closures on southbound I-5 between Hollywood Way and Burbank Boulevard.
- Intermittent nighttime ramp closures at southbound Buena Vista Street off-ramp and southbound Burbank Boulevard off-ramp.
