The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) reports that the northbound I-5 off-ramp to westbound State Route 518 will close in SeaTac overnight Saturday, February 24 and Saturday, March 2 for bridge maintenance.
The closure includes:
- 10:00 p.m. Saturday, February 24 to 6:00 a.m. Sunday, February 25.
- 10:00 p.m. Saturday, March 2 to 6:00 a.m. Sunday, March 3.
- A single left lane on southbound I-405 from Interurban Avenue South (milepost 1) to SR 518 (milepost 0).
- The second closure will include the HOV lane on northbound I-5 between South 178th Street (milepost 153) and Southcenter Boulevard (milepost 155).
During these closures, the Washington State Department of Transportation bridges crews will work on various expansion joints on the fly-over off-ramp to SR 518.
People should plan ahead and seek alternate routes, particularly those planning to go to and from the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport.
