The Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) reports that starting at 9:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 23, the Interstate 5 southbound Exit 234B off-ramp to OR 99E and the I-5 northbound on-ramp from OR 99E, will be intermittently closed Wednesday through Sunday nights from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. for paving. Work is expected to be completed by August 28.
During these closures, there will be signed detours ahead of the closed ramps.
Drivers and freight haulers should plan ahead. Expect delays and give yourself extra time to make your trip. Pay attention in the work zone. Slow down and move over – imagine this is where you work! Watch for construction signs and workers. Fines double in all Oregon work zones.
