I-5 Detour in Chehalis for Bridge Work on December 5

I-5 Washington Road Closed | I-5 Exit Guide

On Thursday, December 5, Washington State Department of Transportation maintenance crews will close all lanes of northbound I-5 and detour traffic using the 13th Street off- and on-ramps. During the closure, crews will survey the structure and gather data needed to design a replacement span. This bridge was damaged when an over-sized load hit the overpass on Saturday, October 5.

Closure Details

Thursday, December 5: Beginning at 2:30 a.m. crews will detour all lanes of northbound I-5 at the 13th Street overpass to use the 13th Street off- and on-ramps to bypass bridge survey crews. All lanes of northbound I-5 will be reopened by 5 a.m.
