Exit Closures, Detours for I-5 Work in Washington This Week

The Washington State Department of Transportation reports the following traffic impacts associated with I-5 construction in Pierce and Thurston County this week.

Wednesday, February 24

• Berkeley Street on-ramp to northbound I-5 will close from 8:30 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. Thursday.
• Northbound I-5 exit to Berkeley Street will close from 8:30 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. Thursday.
• Southbound I-5 exit to 41st Division Drive will close from 9:30 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. Thursday.
• 41st Division Drive on-ramp to southbound I-5 will close from 9:30 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. Thursday.
• Northbound I-5 will be reduced to a single lane from 41st Division Drive near JBLM to Gravelly Lake Drive in Lakewood from 10:30 p.m. to 3:30 a.m. Thursday.
• Southbound I-5 will be reduced to a single lane from Gravelly Lake Drive in Lakewood to 41st Division Drive near JBLM from 11:30 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. Thursday.

Thursday, February 25

• Northbound I-5 exit to 41st Division Drive will close from 9:30 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. Tuesday.
• 41st Division Drive on-ramp to northbound I-5 will close from 9:30 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. Tuesday.
• Northbound I-5 will be reduced to a single lane from 41st Division Drive near JBLM to Gravelly Lake Drive in Lakewood from 11:30 p.m. to 3:30 a.m. Friday.
• Southbound I-5 will be reduced to a single lane from Gravelly Lake Drive in Lakewood to 41st Division Drive near JBLM from 11:30 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. Friday.

Friday, February 26

• Berkeley Street on-ramp to northbound I-5 will close from 10:30 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. Saturday.
• Northbound I-5 exit to Berkeley Street will close from 10:30 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. Saturday.
• Northbound I-5 will be reduced to a single lane from 41st Division Drive near JBLM to Gravelly Lake Drive in Lakewood from 11:59 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. Saturday.
