The Oregon Department of Transportation reports that work has begun this week repairing the E Cottage Grove Connector Road Bridge between OR 99 and I-5.

Expect flaggers on North Lane Street and North Douglas Avenue, under the bridge, helping direct traffic.

I-5 Travelers Should Plan ahead

Starting February 6, expect a full closure of the E Cottage Grove Connector Road until February 11. There are alternate routes and detours for passenger cars and freight trucks.

Sometime after the full closure we’ll close the eastbound lane of the of the E Cottage Grove Connector Road and westbound traffic will have vehicle width restrictions. ODOT estimates the eastbound lane will close for several months. There are alternate routes and detours available for the eastbound traffic.
