California: I-5 Traffic Advisory Thru June 12

The California Department of Transportation is reporting the following traffic advisories for Interstate 5 thru June 12:

– San Joaquin County – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various road construction and bridge activities on Interstate 5 (I-5) from Stanislaus/San Joaquin County Line to Barber Road. Work will occur as follows:

  • The #1 (left) and #2 (right) lanes on northbound and southbound I-5 from Stanislaus/San Joaquin County Line to Tom Paine Slough will alternately close beginning Sunday, June 7, 2015, through Friday, June 12, 2015, from 7:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.;
  • The #1 (left) lane on southbound I-5 at the Delta Mendota Canal will close beginning Sunday, June 7, 2015, through Friday, June 12, 2015, from 7:00 p.m. until 4:00 a.m.;
  • The #1 (left) lane on southbound I-5 at State Route 33 (SR-33) will close beginning Sunday, June 7, 2015, through Friday, June 12, 2015, from 7:00 p.m. until 4:00 a.m.;
  • The southbound on-ramp from SR-33 to I-5 will close beginning Sunday, June 7, 2015, through Friday, June 12, 2015 from 7:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.;
  • The northbound and southbound I-5 on and off-ramps at Kasson Road will close beginning Sunday, June 7, 2015, through Friday, June 12, 2015, from 8:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.;
  • The northbound on-ramp from Matthews Road to I-5 will close beginning Sunday, June 7, 2015, through Friday, June 12, 2015, from 8:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.;
  • The #1 (left) and #2 (middle) lanes on northbound I-5 at Matthews Road will close beginning Sunday, June 7, 2015, through Friday, June 12, 2015, from 10:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.;
  • The #1 (left) and #2 (middle) lanes on northbound and southbound I-5 at Hospital Road will close beginning Sunday, June 7, 2015, through Friday, June 12, 2015, from 8:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.;
  • The #1 (left), #2 (middle) and #3 (right) lanes on northbound and southbound I-5 from SR-4/Charter Way to Country Club Boulevard will alternately close Sunday, June 7, 2015, through Friday June 12, 2015 from 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.;
  • The #1 (left) and #2 (right) lanes on northbound and southbound I-5 at SR-4/Crosstown Freeway will alternately close beginning Sunday, June 7, 2015, through Friday, June 12, 2015, from 8:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.;
  • The on and off-ramps on southbound I-5 at Monte Diablo Avenue will be closed until Thursday, June 18, 2015;
  • The connector ramps from northbound and southbound I-5 to the eastbound SR-4/Crosstown Freeway will close Sunday, June 7, 2015, through Friday June 12, 2015 from 10:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.;
  • The on and off-ramps on northbound and southbound I-5 from SR-4/Charter Way to Country Club Boulevard will close Sunday, June 7, 2015, through Friday June 12, 2015 from 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.;
  • The #1 (left) lane on northbound I-5 at Peltier Road will close beginning Sunday, June 7, 2015, through Friday, June 12, 2015, from 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.
  • The #1 (left) lane on southbound I-5 at Barber Road will close beginning Sunday, May 31, 2015, through Friday, June 5, 2015, from 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.

Motorists should expect 10 minute delays. A signed detour is in place and alternate routes should be taken whenever possible. Construction is scheduled to begin as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment and/ or materials, and construction related issues.
