The Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) reports that all northbound lanes of the Interstate Bridge will be closed Saturday night June 15 from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Sunday, June 16 for sign maintenance.
As a detour, Washington-bound traffic should take Interstate 84 east to Interstate 205 north across the Glenn Jackson Bridge over the Columbia River.
The northbound on-ramp to Interstate 5 from Hayden Island will be closed during the same hours.
The sidewalk on the Interstate Bridge northbound span will be closed during these hours but the sidewalk on the southbound span will remain open.
All northbound lanes should be open by 7:00 a.m. Sunday, June 16.
The Interstate Bridge is jointly owned by Oregon and Washington and is operated and maintained by ODOT. The northbound span opened in 1917 and the southbound span in 1958.
