The Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) reports that next week crews are going to start work on the I-105 bridges over I-5 in the Eugene area. Construction work will be alternating between the eastbound and westbound I-105 bridges to remove the current driving surface, make necessary repairs and install a new protective surface to preserve the bridges for years to come. All work is weather dependent and subject to change.
Eastbound I-105 Bridge – While work is being done on the eastbound I-105 bridge over N Garden Way and I-5, you can expect:
- Crews working 7:00 p.m. to 5:30 a.m.
- Single lane closure.
- I-5 Exit 194A closed nightly.
- Signed detours.
Westbound I-105 Bridge – While work is being done on the westbound I-105 bridge, you can expect:
- Crews working 7:00 p.m. to 5:30 a.m.
- Single lane closure.
- I-5 Exit 194B closed nightly.
- I-105 Exit 4A closed nightly.
- Signed detours.
