The Oregon Department of Transportation reports the ramp from northbound Interstate 5 to OR 217 will be closed Saturday night through Monday morning as work continues on a new deck surface.

The ramp closure will begin at 9:00 p.m. Saturday night and continue until 5:00 a.m. Monday morning. The closure will be in place during the same times starting Saturday Aug. 13 and, if needed to complete the project, a fourth weekend closure will be Aug. 20-22.

When the ramp is closed, travelers will be directed to exit 292B, the next exit north, and turn right at the traffic signal onto Kruse Way leading to northbound OR 217.

All travelers, including those heading for the Oregon International Air Show Sunday at Hillsboro Airport, should expect delays during the closure times or consider an alternate route.

An interim overlay was applied to the ramp in in 2014 but was only scheduled to last up to two years.
