Lane Closures, Speed Reductions on I-5 in Washington This Week

The Washington State Department of Transportation reports that construction on I-5 (between milepost 79.81 and 84.15, will result in lane closures beginning Monday, June 6:

  • Monday, June 6 to the morning of Thursday, June 9:
    A single-lane in either direction of I-5 between Mellen Street and Harrison Avenue may close intermittently, nightly from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. for grinding, paving and guardrail work.
  • Thursday, June 9 to the morning of Friday, June 10: A single-lane in either direction of I-5 between Mellen Street and Harrison Avenue may close intermittently, nightly from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. for grinding, paving and guardrail work.
  • Friday, June 10 to the morning of Saturday, June 11: A single-lane in either direction of I-5 between Mellen Street and Harrison Avenue may close intermittently, nightly, from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m., for grinding, paving and guardrail work.
